Visiting an aesthetics clinic for the first time can feel daunting, but at Axiom Aesthetics we have designed every aspect of the experience to be welcoming, informative, and pressure-free. Here is exactly what you can expect during your first visit.
Before Your Appointment
When you book your consultation, our reception team will send you a brief medical questionnaire to complete. This helps your practitioner prepare and ensures we use your appointment time efficiently.
Arriving at the Clinic
Our Harley Street clinic is discreetly located and warmly appointed. You will be greeted by our reception team and offered refreshments whilst completing any remaining paperwork. We respect your privacy at every stage.
The Consultation
Assessment (15–20 minutes)
Your practitioner will discuss your concerns and goals, conduct a thorough skin and facial assessment, review your medical history and current medications, and take clinical photographs (with your consent).
Treatment Planning
Based on the assessment, your practitioner will explain the recommended treatment options, discuss realistic expectations, outline the treatment timeline, explain all associated costs transparently, and address any questions or concerns you may have.
No Pressure Policy
We have a strict no-pressure policy. You will never be pushed into booking treatments on the spot. We encourage patients to take time to consider their options, particularly for injectable treatments. In many cases, a two-week “cooling off” period before first-time injectable treatments is recommended.
If You Proceed with Treatment
Some patients choose to have certain treatments on the same day as their consultation (after discussion and consent). In these cases, your practitioner will obtain written consent, take pre-treatment photographs, explain the procedure step by step, perform the treatment, and provide comprehensive aftercare instructions.
