Accessibility Statement
Our Commitment to Accessibility
Axiom Aesthetics is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all visitors, including people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply the relevant accessibility standards to ensure we provide equal access to all users.
What We Do
We take the following measures to ensure accessibility of our website:
- Include accessibility as part of our mission and internal policies
- Integrate accessibility into our design and development processes
- Provide ongoing accessibility training for our staff and content creators
- Conduct regular accessibility audits and testing
- Assign clear accessibility goals and responsibilities within our team
- Use semantic HTML and ARIA landmarks throughout our website
Conformance Status
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and more user-friendly for everyone.
Our efforts towards conformance include:
- Perceivable: All images include descriptive alt text. Video content includes captions where available. Text can be resized up to 200% without loss of content or functionality. Sufficient colour contrast ratios are maintained throughout the site
- Operable: All functionality is available via keyboard navigation. Users can navigate using skip links, headings, and landmarks. No content flashes more than three times per second. Users are given adequate time to read and interact with content
- Understandable: Pages use clear, plain English. Navigation is consistent across the site. Form inputs include clear labels and error messages. Help text is provided for complex form fields
- Robust: Content is compatible with current and future assistive technologies. We use valid, semantic HTML5 markup. ARIA attributes are used appropriately to enhance accessibility
Known Limitations
While we strive for full WCAG 2.1 AA compliance, some areas may have limitations:
- Before & After Gallery: Some historical treatment images may have limited alt text descriptions. We are progressively updating these
- Third-Party Content: Some embedded content from third-party services (e.g., booking widgets, payment forms) may not fully meet all accessibility standards. We work with our providers to improve this
- PDF Documents: Some older PDF documents may not be fully accessible. We can provide information in alternative formats upon request
